ABOUT
Thomas B. Lewis, M.D. is a psychiatrist, writer, and frequent lecturer on neuroscience topics. A Colorado native, Dr. Lewis received his medical education and training at the University of California, San Francisco, (UCSF), where he remains an assistant clinical professor. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco (USF), where he teaches at the Fromm Institute. He is one of the authors of A General Theory of Love (Random House, 2000), a nonfiction book for the general public on the psychobiology of human relationships. Dr. Lewis lectures on diverse topics at the intersection of brain science and human experience. He has lectured extensively on the neuroscience of love, criminal law, morality, story, and the Kennedy assassination.
